A new podcast series has started by Physics World. The series will regularly provide views on a themed selection of books. The first podcast is about Women in science: A books special.

The Hirsch index (also called h-index or Hirsch factor) is named after the author J. E. Hirsch who proposed to use a new citation based impact indicator. It is very easy to determine by using the Web of Science.
