Women in science

A new podcast series has started by Physics World. The series will regularly provide views on a themed selection of books. The first podcast is about Women in science: A books special.

“The show begins with an interview with the feminist historian Julie Des Jardins about her book The Madame Curie Complex.”

In addition we like to draw your attention to the new title Professorin und Mutter – wie geht das? : 28 Berichte vom alltaeglichen Spagat zwischen Familie und akademischer Karriere edited by Birgit Piechulla which is now available in the library. You’ll find it in the new aquisitions section.
