Ad hoc working group Open Access Gold

The Ad hoc working group Open Access Gold in the priority initiative “Digital Information” of the Alliance of Science Organisations in Germany published the new position paper “Positions on creating an Open Access publication market which is scholarly adequate” as the first result. This one is available in English, German and France.

Mentoring program CheMento

CheMento is the Mentoring program of the GDCh (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker). There professionally experienced chemists are able to take care of one junior chemist (Mentee). So they can answer questions about the career entry or career orientation and something else.

The closing date for applications as a mentor and a mentee will end at October 15, 2015 to begin with 30 new tandems at 2016.
