Powerfolder and onlyOffice as web based document editor

Within the FHI-Cloud (Powerfolder) a multifeatured online office suite for scientific collaboration, document and project management is offered. It includes an online office application for working within a browser allowing to edit and comment text documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real time.
All major file formats are supported, including Microsoft Office formats.

NOA is a search engine for scientific images from open access publications. It is based on automatic harvesting and indexing of figures from the fields of engineering and technology. NOA is using the infrastructure of Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata.
Zum Tag der Bibliotheken am 24. Oktober ist die Max Planck Gesellschaft mit der Social Media Aktion #meandmylibrary auf Facebook, Twitter und Instagram präsent, um die MPG-Bibliotheken mit ihren gedruckten und digitale Sammlungen ins Bild zu rücken, aber auch die Menschen, die in diesen Bibliotheken arbeiten und forschen. Auch auf der MPG-Webseite wird das Thema aufgegriffen.
The Electrochemical Society is taking down the paywall during the Open Access Week (October 22-28) from the entire ECS Digital Library.
ECS is celebrating International Open Access Week by giving the world a preview of what complete open access to peer-reviewed scientific research will look like.
