You may access the research magazine of the Max Planck Society in an eMagazine version, too. This version, which you find on the magazine’s website, enables you to read MaxPlanckResearch on the monitor of your desktop PC including page turning effects and extended by videos, animations or podcasts.

Die Physikalischen Blätter, Vorgänger-Zeitschrift des Physik Journals (hrsg. von der Deutschen Physikalischen Gesellschaft), wurden retrodigitalisiert und sind nun online frei zugänglich auf Wiley Online Library.
New Open Access Journal: Optical Nanoscopy
The first issue of Optical Nanoscopy has been published in December 2012. It is an open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen and it covers papers dealing with “principles, development, and applications of optical imaging with spatial resolution substantially better than half the wavelength of light.” (more about the journal’s scope at http://www.optnano.com/)
The Max Planck Society has a central agreement with Springer. Therefore, all articles from MPS authors (corresponding author) accepted by SpringerOpen journals are centrally paid by the Max Planck Society.
