Accelerating Science Award Program
The Accelerating Science Award Program calls out on nominating a pioneer in open access publishing. Potential nominees include individuals or teams who have “applied scientific research published through Open Access to innovate in any field and benefit society” (download the flyer for more details). The Max Planck Society is one of the sponsors.
Science Award Electrochemistry
A new science award for electrochemitry has been anounced by Volkswagen and BASF. The award wishes to support excellent scientific research and wants to give new impetus for the development of efficient energy storage systems.
- Particularly postdoctoral fellows intending to habilitate or assistant professors/junior professors establishing a new institute or chair are invited to submit their application.
- The winner will get a prize money of 50,000 Euro.
- The closing date for the application is August 3, 2012.
