Britannica Academic has launched a newly redesigned website. It includes some new features:
- Full article text-to-speech and translation into over 80 languages
- You can save your favourites, upload files and make notes in the all new ‘My Research’ section.
- You can create and share resource packs.

Ullmann’s Free Education Site
The Ullmann’s Academy website compiles key concepts, methods and technologies in process chemistry and chemical engineering for teaching and learning. Short introductions to different topics are presented for free. The Read On link takes you to the corresponding article in the main Ullmann’s Encyclopedia (licensed for the Max Planck Society).

Mit dem aktuellen Update von Römpp online sind neue und aktualisierte Stichwörter aus den Bereichen Biotechnologie, Umwelt und Naturstoffe aufgenommen worden. So gibt es nun etwa einen Eintrag zum Begriff Fracking.
Als ein Standardwerk der Chemie (Erstausgabe 1947) bietet die Online-Enzyklopädie Zugriff auf über 62 000 Stichwörter zur Chemie und den angrenzenden Wissenschaften.
