Springer Materials, based on the Landolt-Börnstein handbook, now includes also the Corrosion Database. This database contains around 25000 records with data on corrosion rates and behaviour of materials. It was originally published as the CORR-DATA database by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The Corrosion Database can be searched by material name and/or environment. You find the Corrosion Search button in the navigation bar.
Another update to SpringerMaterials: Citations for SpringerMaterials content are now directly exportable in the .bib, .EndNote or .ris formats.
Springer Materials is moving to a new platform that offers a range of new features such as interactive tables, 3D views on crystal structures and a thesaurus based faceting mechanism. Now you may access the content on your tablet and mobile phone, too.
The new platform is available at http://materials.springer.com/.
