Our leisure reading section is constantly growing. It mainly contains fiction books in German but there are also some English and Dutch titles available. You find the section on the gallery beside shelf mark 16 E. For borrowing just fill in our check-out cards as usual.

100 years general theory of relativity

International year of light 2015

The UNESCO exclaimed the international year of light on Saturday, 13th June 2015. On the occasion of 100th anniversary of the publication of the generel theory of relativity in 1915, Prof. Dr. Hermann Nicolai of the Max Planck Institute of gravitational physics / Einstein Institute of Golm will read a paper in Caputh. In this paper he will report on the epochal meaning of Einstein´s researches.
