Web of Science Core Collection Expanded

Web of Science has launched the Emerging Source Citation Index (ESCI), which includes publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields. Journals in ESCI are considered for inclusion in other WoS collections. So new sources that are under evaluation are earlier visible.

The ESCI (2015-present) is available via the Web of Science Core Collection.

How to use Web of Science?

There will be an introductory course at the FHI library at Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 11 am. There you will get some information about how to use the WWW Catalog of the FHI library, how to use Online Databases like Web of Science and an introduction of Electronic Journals.
