Online Workshop on Web of Science in July 2016

The interactive online workshop will help you to apply this multidisciplinary database for your research.

Introduction to the Web of Science:

  • Tue, July 26 – 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Attendance is free of charge for staff and guests of the Max Planck Society, but online registration is required. Find more details on content and registration at

The online workshops are offered by the Scientific Information Retrieval Services for the Biology & Medicine Section of the Max Planck Society.

SpringerMaterials now Includes Corrosion Database

Springer Materials, based on the Landolt-Börnstein handbook, now includes also the Corrosion Database. This database contains around 25000 records with data on corrosion rates and behaviour of materials. It was originally published as the CORR-DATA database by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The Corrosion Database can be searched by material name and/or environment. You find the Corrosion Search button in the navigation bar.

Another update to SpringerMaterials: Citations for SpringerMaterials content are now directly exportable in the .bib, .EndNote or .ris formats.
