Empfehlungen zum Forschungsdatenmanagement

Der Rat für Informationsinfrastrukturen (gegründet 2013 durch Beschluss der Gemeinsame Wissenschaftskonferenz) hat unter dem Titel ”Leistung aus Vielfalt” ein Positionspapier zu Strukturen und zur Finanzierung des Forschungsdatenmanagements veröffentlicht. Darin empfiehlt der Rat unter anderem die Etablierung einer Nationalen Forschungsdateninfrastruktur.

Online Workshops on EndNote in July 2016

All workshops begin at 10:00 am and last 90 minutes.

The online workshops are offered by the Scientific Information Retrieval Services for the Biology & Medicine Section of the Max Planck Society.

Helmholtz Open Access Policy

The Helmholtz Association has published a new open access policy. It is based on the EU funding programme Horizon 2020, so that publications should be available open access within 6 months or 12 months in the humanities and social sciences.

“In addition, employees must aim to make the research data underlying the publication accessible and open for sharing.”

Open Access Conference for the Next Generation

This year’s OpenCon will be held in Washington DC on November 12-14, 2016. Organized by the Right to Research Coalition and SPARC, OpenCon is the largest worldwide conference on open access, open science and open data for the next generation.

Attendance at OpenCon is possibly by application only, so the majority of past participants have received travel scholarships.
